CDG provided emergency response assistance and oversight following a release of 42,000 gallons of gasoline. Within the first 24 hours, CDG personnel began the installation of soil borings to facilitate free product recovery. CDG utilized multiple recovery methods, including High Vacuum Recovery events and down-hole skimmer pumps to remove as much product from the subsurface as possible to minimize early offsite migration. A network of 12 recovery wells, 24 monitoring wells and an on-site multi-phase remediation system were installed. CDG continues to conduct comprehensive sampling to ensure effective remediation of the site.
