A release of approximately 15,000 gallons of gasoline was reported for the site based on inventory records, and CDG conducted emergency response and investigative activities. Due to the volume of liquid-phase hydrocarbon, and the proximity of a creek to the site, CDG recommended a Multi-phase Vacuum Extraction (MPVE) system be installed at the site. The system is connected to a network of seven recovery wells. Vapor emissions are treated by activated carbon, and treated groundwater is discharged to the City of Auburn sanitary sewer system.
