Marc Thompson, PE
Mr. Thompson has over 14 years experience in a variety of transportation and construction projects. He has an extensive knowledge of the Alabama Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Standard and Special Drawings, Guidelines for Operations, The Consultant Guide for Developing Construction Plans, and the Roadway Plans Preparation manual. He is also experienced with numerous AASHTO policies and design criteria. As a project manager he has managed many projects from their inception, including preliminary design, corridor studies, traffic studies, NEPA, final design, utility relocations, ROW acquisitions, hydraulic analysis and studies, and final construction plans preparation. Mr. Thompson’s roadway design experience includes all aspects of the design of construction plans, including but not limited to geometric design, hydraulic design, erosion control design, traffic control design, typical sections, cross sections, sequence of construction and superelevation. The type of transportation design projects completed includes:
