Mr. Yates has successfully performed and managed both publicly and privately funded subsurface investigations and geotechnical evaluations across the state of Alabama and in the panhandle of Florida for more than five years. More specifically, he has worked with the Alabama Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Materials & Tests and with multiple ALDOT Division offices to complete soil survey and materials, slope stability, bridge foundation and retaining wall foundation reports for a variety of roadway design projects. Mr. Yates also has experience in oversight and review of construction materials from testing projects within the state of Alabama. As such, he is familiar with numerous ASTM and AASHTO standards as related to testing of construction materials (ie. Soil, concrete, asphalt).
